The project

Autistic Friend Application was a project for children and teachers with contact with autism spectrum personas. The project includes prototyping, wireframe, user testing, and graphical interface, for last the programming in Godot. This is a quiz model game played in the classroom, where the user answers a series of random questions and different difficulties that help him better understand people who have the autism spectrum.

Resume

The game is a quiz of questions and answers, where every 3 questions answered correctly the player will win a piece the goal is to complete the puzzle. The game intends to interactively teach questions related to autism, with questions that clarify basic doubts and myths about autism for those who would like to know more and those who live with people on the spectrum.

Goals: Acquire more knowledge about people with the autism spectrum through varied questions.

Game Flow

In the game, the hit player wins a piece to complete the puzzle, then the pain player needs to hit questions to get pieces of the puzzle and be able to assemble it at the end. By clicking on the play button the user will be forwarded to a screen with the game instruction “every three hits win a piece to complete the puzzle”, then the player must click on the “got it” button to continue.
The mechanics consist of the player clicking on the screen in the correct answer to continue the game. The danger would be the time the player has to respond, this being 30 seconds. Collectables would be the pieces of the puzzle that the player wins when completing a level.
